Details

The trail is a constant climb up the side of Heybrook Ridge. It's a short trail but even so if you aren't in shape you will be taking a few breathers. Once you reach the top of the ridge it's a gradual walk on the ridge till you get below the lookout tower. Once you see the tower you get a burst of energy and you'll need it to get to the top of the lookout. The view platform is always open and sometimes in the summer maned by a ranger to answer questions.
